What are CYPE’s Maintenance agreements?

CYPE’s Maintenance agreements are not just an update or a maintenance contract, they are much more. They represent an exclusive service for your license that includes all the advantages listed below:

• An upgrade of all CYPE programs included in the license from the version prior to the new version. (For upgrades from several versions before the previous version, a variable payment will be applied according to the difference in versions and the programs included in said license).
• An extension for the new modules of the programs corresponding to the acquired agreement included in versions or revisions prior to signing up to the Maintenance agreement.
• 50% discount on the price list when purchasing other programs or modules not included in your license.
• Exclusive offers and discounts.
• Priority technical support.
• Educational workshops.
• An extension of guarantees for the duration of the agreement.

 

How many Maintenance agreements are there?

There are three Maintenance agreements that can be combined with significant discounts:

1. Maintenance agreement for Structures
2. Maintenance agreement for MEP
3. Maintenance agreement for Management

Each one of these Agreements corresponds to the groups or areas that CYPE has established in its current price list.

 

How frequent are the Maintenance agreements?

It is a yearly agreement that is automatically renewed unless otherwise stated in writing at least 30 days before the end of the agreement.

 

How much do Maintenance agreements cost?

Maintenance agreement for Management	157,00 € *

The first payment is annual and is made when registering the agreement or agreements. Further agreements can be purchased prior to agreement renewal. The cost of renewal (one year after the first agreement has concluded) can be paid either annually, half-yearly or quarterly depending on the number of agreements purchased up to that point and the method of payment. Interest is included in the instalments.

 

How much discount will I get if I combine several Maintenance agreements in the same license?

There are four ways to purchase the programs in a single license:

Maintenance agreement for Structures and MEP	525,00 + 50% dto. s/525,00 = 788,00 € *
Maintenance agreement for Structures and Management	525,00 + 50% dto. s/157,00 = 604,00 € *
Maintenance agreement for MEP and Management	525,00 + 50% dto. s/157,00 = 604,00 € *
Maintenance agreement for Structures, MEP and Management	525,00 + 50% dto. s/(525,00+157,00) = 866,00 € *

Only the Agreement for Structures or MEP can be purchased, regardless of the programs included in its license. The modules or programs that are not included in the purchased group can be acquired at a 50% discount.

The Agreement for Management alone cannot be purchased if your license contains Structures or MEP programs.

 

Will I receive a discount for other licenses?

If you have more than one single-user or network license and wish to benefit from their Maintenance agreements, you have the following discounts:

• 2nd (and following) connected license or device: 30% discount

What will I receive when I sign up for the Maintenance agreement and then later on?

When the agreement is signed, if the license does not have the current version, CYPE provides you with the upgrade and passwords for the updated license. The passwords are only needed for the first time; when continuing with the agreement, they do not need to be entered again.

If the security device you possess is a "virtual electronic key" (electronic license), you will not be sent passwords, as they are not required for this type of security device.

When a new version is released, the programs in the license and the newly created modules corresponding to the acquired maintenance agreement will be updated. Normally, one new version is released per year.

Workshops: You will be invited both in writing and over the phone to the technical workshops that are held in your region or nearby area. You can also attend the regular workshops held at our offices and will have a preference when reserving a place.

Exclusive offers: If you wish to purchase modules or software that you do not already own, you will receive a 50% discount on the standard price. This way, you extend your license and will receive everything related to the purchased software without increasing the agreement price.
